Redefining the global textile future

Landfills2Landmarks was established to close the accountability gap in global textile flows. We developed the world’s first downstream traceability tool, launched the Buy Back Scheme with the Ghana Used Clothing Dealers Association, and created the Research and Policy Taskforce to turn secondary market data into policy-grade reporting.

Evidence in Action

Turning downstream data into upstream accountability

At Landfills2Landmarks, downstream realities drive upstream change. We embed verified market data into systems of responsibility so that design, trade, and policy reflect what happens on the ground.

Through traceability dashboards, the Buy Back Scheme, and structured reporting from our Research and Policy Taskforce, we deliver the evidence needed for Extended Producer Responsibility and for financing solutions that achieve measurable outcomes.

  • Traceability

  • Shared
    Responsibilty

  • Circular

Partner with our Projects

Downstream evidence only works when it is connected. These four projects form a single system and all report into CremeXchange, so partners can act with confidence and track verified results.

Downwards Traceability

CremeXchange

Downstream traceability platform that tracks textile flows from import to end-of-life, publishing indicators for policy, brands, and finance.

Buy Back Scheme

Trade-led credit nots model that routes unsold stock back to responsible channels and logs all flows. It protects livelihoods, prevents dumping, and supplies recovery pathways.

Research and Policy Taskforce

Pure Pad Project

Women-led production of resuable sanitary pads from textile offcuts to create jobs, supports health equity, and demonstrate social circularity

Akosombo Green Industrial Park

We support a co branded platform at Akosombo that prepares textile flows for industrial regeneration. Ownership sits with local partners while Landfills2Landmarks provides alignment on traceability, methods and policy. The opportunity is to finance facilities that can process verified material at scale & deliver measurable climate & jobs outcomes.

Insights Hub

Why Downstream Evidence Matters

Policy, finance, and design only succeed when they are informed by what happens at the point of trade and processing. Landfills2Landmarks provides indicators and methods that are open to scrutiny and published with transparency.
